Shotgun formats are easily handled by pre-programming each cart for the outing start time and the specific starting hole. The Personal Ranger then counts down to the starting time keeping all participants informed of when and where they tee off.

At Crossover starts are just as simple.  With one button press, the starter can send groups off the 1st and 10th tees simultaneously.

Starter-less courses carts can be pre-programmed for specific start times.  The Personal Ranger counts down to the designated tee time and starts automatically.
